Kambaba Stone
This was once a real acorn cap, dropped by a living oak tree in Virginia! Now, it is solid bronze, with kambaba jasper - widely (but inaccurately, alas) believed to be a fossilized form of prehistoric algae - replacing the old nut. The acorn’s organic matter is totally destroyed during the casting process (explained here), leaving behind a unique piece of nature permanently preserved in metal.
1” long. Adjustable cord included.
